This committee is a space to talk about what matters most, share concerns, connect with resources, and brainstorm solutions together. It’s high-energy, goal-oriented, and focused on real conversations—without talk of fundraising or money.
The goal is to create a casual, welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable showing up and speaking openly about the issues impacting us as individuals and as a community.
We all share problems and worries in our day-to-day lives—often with friends, coworkers, family, or church members. The Community Concerns Committee takes those conversations a step further by gathering, organizing ideas, and ensuring those concerns are passed along to people in decision-making spaces who can push for change.
No one can control everything happening in Washington—or even the price of eggs—but there is power in getting involved locally. Together, we can make a direct, positive impact right here in our community. And it all starts with conversations.
